How parents can support a student preparing for NEET: routine, sleep, expectations, and what to ask instead of "how many marks?".
The most useful help is a steady routine: fixed study blocks, regular meals, enough sleep and a short daily break. Asking about the routine is more helpful than asking about scores.
Instead of asking for marks, ask what the student found hard today, and what they plan to revise tomorrow. This keeps the conversation about learning.
If a student seems tired all the time, avoids study, or becomes very anxious, talk to them calmly and consider speaking with a school counsellor or doctor.
A plan with realistic daily targets works better than a perfect timetable that breaks in a week. Reviewing the plan every Sunday keeps it honest.
Choose material that follows the NCERT, explains why answers are right or wrong, and lets the student practise by chapter. Look for a free trial before paying.
