How to remove wrong options in NEET multiple-choice questions, with a simple checklist you can use in every paper.
Each NEET question has four options and one correct answer. If you can remove two options with confidence, a doubtful question becomes a 50-50 choice, and a confident student can usually reach the answer.
First, read the stem twice and underline the keyword, such as "not", "only" or "except". Second, test each option on its own and mark it true, false or unsure. Third, remove the options that are false. Fourth, if two remain, go back to the stem and look for the word that separates them.
Options that use "always" or "never" are often wrong. Options that are true statements but do not answer the question are also common. Check that your chosen option answers what was asked.
The best practice is to say why each wrong option is wrong. Vidya720 gives a reason for every option so you can check your own reasoning after each question.
