A simple mistake notebook method for NEET: what to write, how to sort mistakes, and when to revisit them.
A mistake notebook is a short record of every question you got wrong, and why. It turns each error into something you can fix.
For each mistake write the question in one line, the correct answer, the reason you got it wrong, and the rule that fixes it. Keep it short, no more than three lines.
Label each mistake as a concept gap, a careless slip, a time problem or a guess. Concept gaps need rereading. Careless slips need a slower read of the stem. Time problems need practice under a timer.
Read the notebook the next day, after one week, and before each mock test. Remove a mistake only when you have answered a similar question correctly twice.
